1 Select ContactsStart RemarkableMail from the ACT! toolbar or ACT! Write menu. To create a new postcard, select Create New Postcard. If you just want to update your acoount,e.g. upload new images or change your return address, select Maintain Account. If you want RemarkableMail to automatically create the same size postcard and layout the next time you use this program, then check the Remember Postcard Size/Layout option.>
Select the one of the four choices provided; Current Contact, Current Lookup, All Contacts, or Selected Group.
RemarkableMail will then perform some basic validation of the addresses and display the results. Any contact records that do not pass the edits will automatically be omitted from the mailing. The reasons for rejecting the contact record are incuded. In addition, you'll have the option of creating a new group in ACT! that contains the invalid contact records. If this option is selected, a note is also inserted that explains why the record was rejected. RemarkableMail also provides the option to map up to three additional fields for using in as part of the text message. Visit our Help section to see more about this feature called "Message Merge". In adddtion, RemarkableMail allows you to select either the work or home address. At this time, you may also omit contacts from the mailing.
After RemarkableMail connects to its web service, select the My Account link and login using your e-maill address and password. If this your first time using RemarkableMail, then select the Sign Up button. If you've forgotten your password, select the Forgot Password link and your password will be e-mailed to you.
